Together, since 1948, we’ve brought more than 3 million Jews home to Israel. In the first four months of independence, some 50,000 newcomers, mainly Holocaust survivors, were brought to Israel. Just 12 months after independence, Operation Magic Carpet launched to rescue more than 50,000 Yemenite Jews. Followed by Operation Ezra, Operation Moses, Operation Exodus, Operation Solomon. Decade after decade, our work to bring Jews home to Israel has never ceased and our goal remains unchanged: to help pave the way for aliyah and successful integration to strengthen Israel. Learn more
Bringing more Jews to live in Israel
Today with your support, we’re helping potential new immigrants visit Israel for an up-close and personal look at the incredible range of possibilities. Participants on our Jewish Agency pilot trips explore vocational and professional opportunities; they visit neighborhoods and, for families, explore the variety of educational frameworks for children. Accelerating successful integration
Every year we are paving the way for more than 30,000 new Israelis through one of our innovative integration programs. For those with extraordinary needs, our absorption centers provide intensive support through a “first home” environment—giving them the personalized attention and tools they need to achieve independence. For new immigrants moving directly into communities, our national At Home Together program recruits Israeli families and businesses as volunteers to “adopt” newcomers during their first two years in Israel—connecting new immigrants to a powerful community-wide network of support.
